Music Time with Amy

Today during music, we sang some classics:

(rub hands together, back and forth while pointing them up in the air)
We’re going to the moon.

5, 4, 3, 2, 1,
(hold 5 fingers up and count down)
Blast off!
(toss child up gently in the air or the child can jump up on their own)

Roly Poly

Roly poly, roly poly
Up, up, up...up, up, up
(roll hands around each other, then move hands up and up and up)

Roly poly poly, roly poly poly
Down, down, down...down, down, down
(roll hands, then move hands down and down and down)

 

 

 

 We also sang some new spring inspired songs. There were lots of smiles, giggles, singing and dancing happening!  One of the favorites was the chicken dance, especially the part where they got to dance with a peer.
